Apple launched Apple Watch SE on Wednesday. The Apple Watch SE has an accelerometer, gyroscope, and always-on altimeter. It supports fall detection and emergency SOS calling in supported regions.
Powering the Watch SE is the S5 processor. It has a speaker, a microphone and Bluetooth 5.0 connection and tracking, automatic handwashing detection.
Apple Watch SE is water-resistant to 50 metres. There are dozens of workouts to tap into, including running, walking, yoga, cycling, high-intensity interval training and dance. It also pairs with compatible gym equipment and contains metrics like distance, pace, laps, cadence, calories burnt and heart rate. An always-on altimeter lets you see your elevation changes in real-time as you climb up or down.
There are 70 million tracks of musical motivation in the watch, which also helps to catch up on the latest podcasts. You will get reminders to wash your hands for recommended 20 seconds and also track the menstrual cycle from the watch.
